The Universal Rays Reiki

The Universal Rays were first brought forth from Spirit in 2004 and were channeled by Dawn Rothwell, who is named as the founder, with Stephen Lovering and Melissa Hemmings following in the lineage. The system is a series of seven attunements matched to the chakras, each ray carried by an ascended master who guards the higher lesson of that realm. The manual is careful to say what the rays are not: not a religion, not a healing system like Reiki, and not a chakra or aura modality.

They are a self-transformational series meant to move a person along their spiritual path, and there are no prerequisites. The first realm is One Place, governed by Ascended Master Hilarion, and its lesson is that seven continents, seven chakras and seven realms all come back to a single origin. The second realm, One Being, is governed by the energy that once embodied Mother Mary, who vibrates to amber and to ylang ylang. The third, One Self, is governed by Serapis Bey, and the fourth, One Heart, by Quan Yin.

What this attunement is intended to support:

- A structured journey through seven realms, taken in order rather than all at once.

- Release of fears and judgements about abundance, which is the stated work of the first ray.

- Seeing other people as brothers and sisters regardless of belief, which is the second realm's lesson.

- Group practice, since the manual says the rays work best shared in a community, with as many as seventeen initiates at a time.

- Active participation, because the recipient speaks their own request rather than sitting passively.

- Grounding, which is built into the close of every transmission for both the giver and the receiver.

How it is used:

You arrange a time with your facilitator, who clears your aura and chakra system using any modality they know. You then speak the request for that realm aloud, naming yourself and asking the guardian for what the ray carries, and visualise a seed or acorn opening beneath you and growing up to your root chakra. The facilitator calls upon the guardian and transfers the ray, then closes your aura and grounds the excess energy. You ground yours into the plant you pictured. The remaining rays follow in the same way, realm by realm.
