Intuition Reiki

Intuition Reiki was published in 2008 by the Element Energy Center as a practitioner's manual for developing intuition rather than a general healing system. Its working premise is that everyone is intuitive, in the same way everyone can learn an instrument, and that clearing your energy improves the signal even if you were not born unusually gifted. The energy is aimed at the area around the third eye, clearing the biases and fears that make spiritual information hard to hear.

The manual spends real time on preparation and ethics, warning that raw psychic talent without grounding or spiritual practice can warp, and giving basic precautions: no Ouija boards, be specific about who you connect with when using a pendulum, and stay grounded by touching the earth, eating properly and living an ordinary daily life.

It also lists the obstacles that spoil accuracy, chief among them personal bias, since the more attached you are to an outcome the less reliable the reading, which is why it is easier to read for other people than for yourself. Instead of a fixed symbol the system uses a visualization, on the grounds that practising visualization itself develops the intuition of the practitioner.

How it is used:

There is no static symbol. You activate the energy by visualizing a sparkling lotus flower opening in the palms of your hands and sending spiritual energy, and you can place the same blossom at the crown or at the third eye point. The energy can be given to all the chakras, with the main focus on the crown and third eye, and the manual is firm that if someone is ungrounded you give energy to the root chakra and feet first. Work the lower centres before opening the upper ones, use your own intuition and your hands to ask what is blocked, and go gently rather than flooding the head.
