Celtic Reiki Level 2 is the practitioner stage of a tree-based Reiki lineage that draws its symbols from the Celtic ogham alphabet, taught here through the distance course notes of Enchanted Earth Holistic Healing Courses, copyright Pamela Jordan 2003, with the symbol descriptions credited to Martyn Pentecost.
Where Level 1 concentrates on energy work alone, Level 2 opens the system toward manifestation, an art the manual attributes to the Celts alongside their reputation for healing and their close bond with the natural world.
Six second-degree symbols are given, each tied to a tree and a month of the Celtic year: Nuin the Ash for connection, Duir the Oak for opening doors and protection, Oir the Spindle for material circumstances, Coll the Hazel for the heart and the emotions, Gort the Ivy for the mind and clarity, and Saille the Willow for the moon and the work of the soul.
The practitioner begins every sequence with Nuin and Duir, then adds whichever symbol matches the goal, working the energy from the head to the heart and finally to the hara about two inches below the navel. The manual also covers crystals, the master crystal, and the stones that correspond to each chakra, since crystals can hold and slowly release the energy. Throughout, one rule governs the work: always act for the highest good of all, and never bend another person's will.
What this attunement is intended to support:
- It gives you six named tree energies to work with, each with its own season, meaning and pronunciation, so your practice has structure rather than guesswork.
- It is traditionally used to support the setting of goals on the material, emotional, mental and soul levels through the chosen symbol sequence.
- It offers a clear opening protocol, Nuin then Duir, that connects you to the energy and establishes protection before anything else begins.
- It encourages a grounded way of bringing intention down from thought into physical life by moving the energy from head to heart to hara.
- It teaches a code of conduct for manifestation work, including the principle that energy aimed at controlling another person returns to the sender.
- It adds crystal knowledge, including how to choose, cleanse and keep a master crystal, so stones can extend the work between sessions.
What you receive:
- The distance course notes for Celtic Reiki Level 2, including illustrations, pronunciations and meanings for all six second-degree symbols.
- The attunement to the Level 2 energies, passed by your teacher in the manner of the Celtic Reiki lineage.
- A crystal section covering the master crystal, crystal care, and the stones associated with each chakra colour.
Who this is for:
- Practitioners who have completed Celtic Reiki Level 1 and want the second set of symbols.
- People drawn to tree energy, the ogham alphabet and the seasonal rhythms of the Celtic calendar.
- Reiki practitioners who want a structured, intuitive way to work with goals for themselves and for others.
How it is used:
Begin any piece of work by channelling Nuin and then Duir at the head, then add the symbol or combination that matches your aim. Hold the energy at the head for three to five minutes, move to the heart for three to five minutes, and finish at the hara for three to five minutes, which carries the intention from thought down into physical form. The symbols can equally be held in meditation, drawn over a wish book or a crystal grid, or simply used as intuition guides you, since the manual describes the system as still evolving and asks you to work with it creatively.
